Our first time in Myanmar and we were glad we stayed here. The hotel is in Yankin (North side of Yangon). There is a Yangon Circular train stop nearby - 'Kanbe' station. The walk to this staion was the best part of our Yangon trip! We got to see our neighborhood - it was an amazing experience. The train ride was fun too.
The room was spacious, clean - no problem at all! No issue with hot water either. Good start. Wifi in the room, small fridge, flat screen TV, hair dryer, kettle.....
Great staff - super helpful. Most of them spoke good English. Highly recommended!

Zfreeti Hotel - Bagan

Great location - about 500 m walk to the main bus stop in Nyaung oo. A minute walk to the main restaurant street in Nyaung oo. Convenient for Old Bagan sightseeing.
Customer service - Great. Staff are always smiling and very helpful. They also helped us get the bus tickets to Mandalay.
There is a nice outdoor pool with very comfortable sun beds. Bar by the pool too. Breakfast is served at their rooftop restaurant.
We would love to stay here again next time we are in Bagan!

Nice hotel
Rising Venus Hotel - Mandalay
Stayed: 2014 February 18 - 21 (3 nights)
The hotel is located on the south side of Mandalay (about 4km away from Mandalay downtown area) so it is quiet. The rooms are quite spacious with big bathroom with a bathtub (although it didn't have enough hot water to fill it) . The best part of this hotel has to be the people. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Thanks for an amazing stay!!
